The search continues while I keep dreaming!

Dear Friends and Family, Well the search for a new home continues. As I mentioned last week, we put an offer on a house that we really liked. We felt the house was a bit overpriced for this market so our offer was lower than the asking price. Although the house has been on the market at the current price for over 200 days, the seller didn't feel like bringing his price down by much. So I guess I'll just keep dreaming instead! Chris and I are talking about finding a house either in a water community or near the water. So I think our next home will get some coastal colors! Here are some decorating photos I found for inspiration!

Here's an idea for a sitting area/window treatments/and cool wall art! I'm so bad at figuring out how to put things on the wall so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for ideas!

Check out this sailor inspired guest or boy's room! I love the wainscoting - it definitely adds character to a room!

I love the calm neutrals of this bathroom and I think the stones around the tub bring a sense of the outdoors inside.

These bunk beds remind me of the college dorm! I like how the bedding, furniture, and lamps are used for color and the walls are left bright white.

Chris and I have a platform bed similar to this one. I never would have thought to decorate behind the bedside tables rather than over the bed

I'll need to find some colorful fish pictures to decorate with too! Luckily I already have some cool lanterns to put around on tables from my wedding centerpieces - Thanks, Aunt Michaele Ann!
