Dear Friends and Family,
My post this week is going to be in reverse chronological order because I can't stand not sharing the big news first! Chris and I are expecting a baby on January 20th and today we got to see our little Gal/Guy on the big screen!
Our first ultrasound was truly a magical experience - love at first tear filled sight! We received great news from the doctor. All of the organs are looking good and the heart beat is strong! She zoomed in to look at the brain and Chris proclaimed that our baby looks really smart! The ultrasound tech was a sport and immediately agreed! :)
Here's a profile view!
This is a cool 4-D picture!

Isn't he/she already adorable!?! (I may be partial)

Our baby is about 2.5 inches long and was fairly active during the ultrasound! In about 7 more weeks I'll be feeling all that movement! I can't wait!
While we were on vacation last week, Chris hired a painter to come in and paint the whole house! I can't tell you how thrilled I am by the result! So I'll show you!
Here is Baby Supple's room! (We painted it light blue and light green)

Here is our guest room - many of you will one day stay here!

Here is our bedroom!
I love the grey/blue paint with the blossoms out the window!

Our new kitchen! The walls are a grey/green (kind of hard to see here).
I also apologize for the mess! I'll get some better photos later!

Our dinning room/living room is light blue!

And our Family room and halls are all a very light green color!
I've noticed that the colors tend to change with the lighting. The closer walls look almost blue but they are really the same color as around the front door!
Ok, now on to our vacation! The whole trip was sponsored by our extremely wonderful and generous Grandparents! Each year they rent out a BIG beach house in the Outer Banks and invite the whole family. We always have such a fun time! Families each take nights cooking dinner and we spend the day at the beach and the night playing games! It's a great way to relax and get to know our family better. In these days of spread out families, it's a great way to keep in touch!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for an amazing week! I love you both very much! And thanks to my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Parents, Sisters and Nephew for all the fun new memories!
Grandpa George and Grandma Grace enjoying the beach!

Megan enjoys one of our other favorite pastimes at the beach - READING!

Marissa and I pose on the beach!

Katie and Noah!
Noah just loved the sand. He would wiggle his toes in it and smile!
Our evening walks on the beach were so relaxing and perfect for digesting dinner!

My adorable cousins Kate and Cara!

Kelli takes her turn to play with Noah!

Me and my handsome hubby!

So that about wraps up our weekly news! Chris and I have been busy running carloads of boxes over to the new house. I need to mention my extreme gratitude to my in-laws for their great support in helping with our move prep! Dad helped Chris to move our washer and dryer to the new house and helped with the hook-up of multiple appliances! Thank you all so much!!!
Our new carpet gets installed on Thursday and our big move is on Saturday!
Wish us luck!
I love you my friends and family!
