We are going to chow down on some delicious turkey!
Grandma always delivers on my favorite - Mashed Potatoes!!!
Maybe Aunt Karen will contribute her famous heavenly sweet potatoes!
I'll take cranberries any way you serve them, but for some reason I just love the canned version!
Grandma makes an amazing Green bean casserole! YUM!
And there's always pie for dessert!
I don't know about you, but my mouth is definitely watering! (Or maybe that's just me drooling again!) Thanksgiving is about my two favorite things in the world - delicious food and most importantly, friends and family. Although my whole family can't be together for this great day, I certainly thank God for each of you, and I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people to love and who love me in my life!

Speaking of people I love, it's time for a Baby Supple update! This weekend Chris and I took an infant care class at the hospital. It was good to get a refresher on diapering and bathing! We also both learned a lot when it came to swaddling and soothing our baby. In addition, we learned when you need to call the doctor and when you don't. Our future pediatrician was probably smiling at that moment and didn't know why! They explained what to expect as normal as far as the look of the diaper (ewww) and the progress of a healing belly button!

On Monday, the baby and I had another check-up at the doctor's office. Although all of our test results, blood pressure, weight numbers, and baby's heart rate are doing great, the doctors are having trouble finding the top of my uterus for a good measurement on the baby's growth so my doctor decided that since this is the second time they have had trouble, they are going to do an ultrasound just to make sure our little girl is growing alright. At first when they told me this I was nervous, but with every powerful kick, I feel sure she is fine, and I'm glad to have a doctor who is extra cautious. So next Wednesday, Dec. 1, we are going for a 7am ultrasound. I'm really looking forward to seeing baby Supple again! At about 7 weeks until D-day, she is going to be so much bigger and more developed than last time we saw her. I'll be sure to post pictures - so next week's blog will show up either Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
I hope everyone has a safe and delicious Thanksgiving! I'm looking forward to seeing many of you this week!
Love,
Bethie
Happy Thanksgiving to you all too!
