Fun with Doggies and Great Friends

Dear Family and Friends,
This week we had the pleasure of watching two of the world's sweetest dogs for our friends Jessica and Christian. These dogs are so good that watching them is a total gift to us. The kids were in heaven the whole time they were here. Will even begged one of the dogs to not leave and tried to hold him back.
Chugger loved cuddling with Claire! (I swear you can see that dog smiling!)
Will read to the dogs.
It was a dinosaur book that had lots of sound effects.
On Friday, Chris took the day off for a little stay-cation! It was so wonderful getting to just relax and have the whole house to ourselves while the kids were in school. Chris even made us a lunch reservation in Annapolis so we really felt spoiled!

Claire had another field hockey game on Saturday. She played great and scored another goal. Here's a sneak peak at her field hockey team photo.

This weekend was also our Island community party. It was a great time. I had fun meeting new neighbors and catching up with friends. The kids spent most of their time playing on Cloud field or jumping in the moon bounce. Meanwhile, the adults got to talk uninterrupted over delicious pulled pork, an impressive dessert table, and beer/wine.

To close, I'll just say how special it is to have good friends. I'm extremely blessed to have a great group of friends right here on the island. Last night our Turkey Point Island mom group went to one of our favorite restaurants. We giggled the entire time! It was so much fun!
Me, Veronika, Maggie, Sarah, Patti, Kim, Laura, Kelly, and Lisa
One of our topics for giggles was about how I have been confused for Maggie, Veronika, and Lisa! A lady at the grocery walked up to me and said, "Hi Lisa!" and I knew exactly who she thought I was. Then the school secretary told me that every time she sees me she thinks I'm Veronika. Then one day while walking on the Island, one of Maggie's direct neighbors pulled their car over to talk to me because they thought I was her!

I'm telling you all of this because next year at the Island Halloween Party, the four of us are going to dress exactly the same and tell people to guess who we are! We are the Island quadruplets! Ha!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
Love,
Bethie
