It's been quite a week! Claire and I have been busy. We went to the Doctor on Wednesday last week for Claire's 2 month check-up and she is now weighing in at almost 10 lbs and is 24 & 1/4 inches long! That puts her in the 80% for length. I have a feeling I'll be raising a volleyball player! She certainly is taking after her father.
In honor of the NCAA tourney, I thought I would post some photos of Claire in her college fan gear!

This past week was Claire's first Saint Patrick's Day! Our friends Chris Scheve and Lily Jones got Claire her shamrock outfit! Claire makes such a cute little leprechaun! I had her dressed in this for UK's first game of the tournament and when UK almost lost, Claire made use of the bib!
On Saturday Chris got to go with a bunch of his friends down to D.C. to watch Pitt play their second round game of the tournament. He and his friends were able to get a luxury box for the game (SO MUCH FUN)! Claire and I stayed home to have a girls night. We played with each other's hair, watched basketball, and talked about what a slouch Charles Barkley looks like on camera (was he really an athlete at one time?!) Anyway, I let Claire stay up to watch the Pitt game and this is what Claire's face looked like in the last 30 seconds of the game!
It stayed that way until bedtime! She was sure this was Pitt's year to make it to the Final Four! What a sad and unfortunate loss!

And finally, a picture of Claire in her car seat! She's getting so big! She's even starting to hold her head up on her own! She also laughed for the first time on Monday morning and I've been trying to get her to do it again ever since!
Tomorrow my Dad arrives to meet Claire! Two of the best men in my life are celebrating birthdays this coming week! My Dad's Birthday is on the 27th and Chris turns 30 on the 30th! My sister is also coming for another visit this weekend. It's sure to be a great time!
Claire and I decided to go to a weekday Mass today for Lent! Today's prayer was very nice so I thought I would share it with you: "Father, I want to talk to you. Let me hear your voice and experience your presence today."
