More photos of Claire!

Dear Family and Friends, First let me say Thank You! I cannot believe the generosity we have experienced since having Claire. I think Claire gets a package in the mail everyday. We are so spoiled! Not only are you all giving us gifts, but our friend's parents are sending us gifts, our neighbors are dropping off gifts, and our family's extended family and their neighbors are sending us gifts! We are completely overwhelmed by this kindness.

This week I got to go to my first Mom's group event sans Claire. Chris watched her while I was out and I felt both free and naked at the same time! I had a great time though and it really felt good to be out of the house and having fun.

As I mentioned last week, my friend Dava came over to shoot some pictures for her photography class. She is very talented! She took the above two pictures and the ones below as well! Dava has been sending me a few pictures each day from her photo shoot. Needless to say, I have really enjoyed checking my email!

Claire talks with Daddy

Speaking of talking - today Claire said, "Ah-boo" twice! It's the first coo she has made. I was so impressed that I ended up saying "Ah-boo" for the rest of the afternoon to her. I think she is sure she just taught me a new word in her language and is feeling really proud of herself!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Claire and I are going to our first play date with my friend Julie Bonner and her baby Nicholas today. Nicholas was born just days before Claire! I can't wait to get pictures of them together. Nicholas was 9lbs 15oz at birth and Claire is maybe 8lbs 7oz at 6 weeks! I'm sure it will be a fun time!
