Playing and Push-ups!

Dear Friends and Family,

Last week was a nice relaxing week!  I know the coming weeks are going to be busy, so Chris, Claire and I took this weekend to just relax (= lots of naps = heaven)! 

On Thursday last week, Claire played with her friend Nicholas Bonner.  They are only two days apart in age. So, as you can see, everything goes in the mouth at this age! 

The baby books say now is the time to start socializing your kids, so I thought it was really funny how Claire and Nicholas would watch each other as they played! They were so interested in each other! 

This week I also managed to get a bunch of pictures of Claire with her Daddy.  They are so cute together!

Here Claire is, playing with her newest favorite toy, her pal Violet!  Violet sings her personalized songs and she loves to hear her talk!  (Thanks, Adna for getting her this toy!  And thanks also to my sis-in-law Katie for recommending it!)

 Claire isn't crawling yet...but she is pushing up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth.  The problem is that when she does this it makes her move backwards. This is extremely frustrating for Claire because the toys she intends to move toward end up moving further and further away!
