Dear Friends and Family,
This weekend Will turned one month old! On one hand, I can't believe how fast time is flying, but on the other, I'm still hoping it will move faster as the baby professionals tell me that crying peaks at 6 weeks. So that means only 2 more weeks to go! My sweet "Chill Will" has now earned the name, "Will the Thrill!" We went for his one month check-up on Tuesday and the good news is he is doing great with all of his healthy indicators. He's 10 lbs., 5.5 oz. and 23.5 inches long. I told the doctor about his difficulty sleeping and he told me that the Zantac should start to really work in the next week. I'm very hopeful! The doctor also told me not to worry, he was sure Will would be doing great by 4 months! I looked at him and said, "4 months!?!" I was hoping for sooner, but I guess as I've seen with the first 4 weeks, time will move pretty fast. At least I have a completely adorable Claire to remind me how quickly time goes by and how adorable these little babies get each and every day!
Claire has greatly improved on her waking. We are moving closer to an acceptable wake time of 6:30am. One day she even waited in bed for me to get her up. However, yesterday I was so excited that we made it to 6:45am and then I found her downstairs with the TV on and a glass of water...
My mom just finished her second week with us and headed down to Greenville, SC for a few weeks with my sister. I miss her so much already. She and Claire had a ball together, and I really enjoyed the bonding time.

| Claire loves to collect rocks and drop them off the pier. Nana tells her to try not to drop any on Mermaids' heads. Claire thinks that's funny and looks for Mermaids in the water. |

We took Mom to Old Stein Inn for dinner and music on the beirgarten this weekend. Claire and Will both wore their Nana designed dirndl and lederhosen. We had a great time!

| Happy One Month, Will! You are so cute when you are sleeping! |
Claire is really enjoying summertime on the island. We usually go for evening walks/runs on the beach! Claire loves to take off and tell us to catch her!

My mom has also gotten Claire to eat more lately by encouraging her to grow her muscles. Here she shows them off while playing out by the pool!

My brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Ryan came to visit this week too! Claire is a big fan of both of them, and since they arrived, she can normally be found snuggled up next to Aunt Ryan (who is studying for her Bar exam) or playing with blocks with Uncle Kyle.

I also have to feature a few pics from the garden. Our amazing day lilies from Grammie Brockdorff are blooming and our yard is gorgeous! Thanks to all of our rain, we also have some large and beautiful hydrangeas!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Keep praying for us and for little Will! I go solo again tomorrow, and I can use all the prayers I can get!
Love,
Bethie
