Dear Friends and Family,
What a week it has been! I was so scared when all the help left and it was time to fly solo, but we survived! I can say that with an explanation mark because my mom arrived last night, so there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Also, I have some amazing friends who have been dropping off meals almost every day! Our fridge is filled with so much good food that I am truly going to miss being cooked for. It's amazing how clean a kitchen can stay when you aren't cooking in it!
Things actually went pretty well during solo week, but juggling feedings while trying to convince Claire not to climb on me was challenging. Only once when a friend came to visit did Claire recommend my friend take Will with her. I thought that was good. I'm actually surprised she doesn't try to give him away more! She is trying really hard to embrace sharing her mama!
Chris has been such an amazing Daddy too! When he is home, he helps with feedings or distracts Claire with games while I nurse. This weekend he also sent me to bed as much as possible for naps so that I could be well rested. I told him that doing things like that for me actually made me feel like I was getting a weekend!

This weekend my fabulous friend Dava also came for a visit! She brought gifts, food, and her Nikon camera with her and took some great photos of the family and kids. I'll be sure to share those once I get the disc!
