Dear Friends and Family,
This year's Mother's Day was one of my best celebrations yet. Chris and the kids spoiled me with chocolates, cards, and food AND my mom came to visit me from Alaska! Not only was it wonderful to get to see my mom this week, but it was the perfect timing as a very busy Teacher Appreciation Week just came to a close.
On Thursday last week, I picked up a BBQ lunch for 50 teachers from Bayside Bull (a local pit beef and catering company). They did an amazing job and gave the PTO a nice teacher/school discount.
One of our 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Snyder and Claire's Advanced Program teacher, Mrs. ChaneyMrs. Hargrove and Mrs. Martin are not only great teachers, but they were also fun Girls on the Run coaches with me this season.
On Friday, a few moms and I worked to make 50 charcuterie boxes to hand out at dismissal to help the teachers ring in the weekend! We had fun putting the boxes together and joked the whole time that we should open a charcuterie board/box company. Just after delivering the boxes to school, I had an email asking where we ordered the boxes and would it be possible to get them for a company event! Ha! They really did turn out nice though.
Since it was Mother's Day weekend, Will conceded to let me cut his hair! Here's his shaggy before look:
Chris was also busy working on my wish list by installing some new lights on the back of the house!

What a wonderful week we are having!! 💖
