Sunsets, Moon Rise, and Sunrises!

 Dear Friends and Family,

Great news! My Grandmother got to leave the hospital to stay with my Uncle Giles and Aunt Gina for a few days until she is ready to move back into her apartment! That means she got to celebrate her birthday in a home, surrounded by loved ones. To make things even more exciting, Giles and Gina got Grandma a picture frame that we can send pictures to AND we can call to have video chats! Grandma loved hearing us call to sing happy birthday, and I loved getting to see her beautiful smile.

This week with the days getting shorter, I've been treated to some amazing sunrises. It's such a great way to start the day! We also had a very rainy day that resulted in flooding in the lowest lying areas. One of my friends has a waterfront home that in modern times would be considered too close to the water to build. However, because it was built before such rules, it is where it is! As a result, any heavy rain floods her back yard! The good news is, it hasn't flooded the house yet!

Yikes! 

12 hours later, the lawn is back with a gorgeous sunset!
