Turkey Point Day and Happy 97th Birthday to my Grandmother!

Dear Friends and Family,
This weekend, was our community day so we organized an ice cream truck to drive around the island and give out ice cream! I also organized a scavenger hunt and Chris had our friend Gil over to steam crab and play yard games.

Just like at the clambake, everyone who raced up to the truck and came away with a treat, felt like a kid again.

This week I started my Sacraments classes. Classes went really well and it feels so good to get to teach again. The kids are very sweet. I have over 50 students. I teach a Sunday morning class, a Zoom Sunday evening class, and a Wednesday afternoon class. I also started a St. Joseph study that is AMAZING! There is so much about St. Joseph that I never knew or at least never really paid attention to. If any of you want to learn more about the things I'm learning, give me a call! I'm happy to share.

The kids are loving their sports and they are loving their classes. Winnie is getting super shaggy. We were counting down to her haircut this weekend and then learned that her groomer has COVID. Definitely say a prayer for Amy's recovery.

Tomorrow is my wonderful Grandma's birthday! I love my Grandma so much. She was that grandmother who never yelled at you, she is always sweet and encouraging. She is currently in the hospital but is hopeful to get home soon. Please keep her in your prayers too. Here are a few favorite pictures of and with my Grandmother. She is turning 97!
